Here is the article in American Artist-March Issue. I am very pleased with the way the magazine portrayed the artwork. I also wanted to thank my friend Dean for writing the article.

Hello, Mr. Peery. I just finished reading the article in American Artist. I bought it just because of your excellent paintwork. Congratulations for your great achievement. My name is Jacob Jimenez Lechuga and I'm a painter myself. I'll keep looking for your updates and I'll add a link to your site in my own blog. Please know you have a new fan here in Mexico City.

Hey Michael, I love your painting at the Newport Art Museum, mine is hanging to the right of yours! I learned alot from you at Lyme, wish I had studied with you longer.

Hi! The article in American Artist was really inspiring. The series of paintings (heads in different directions) is very cool. I like your approach to painting portraits- and, nevertheless, your use and control of color!(-Shannon C.)

I picked up this magazine and bought it when I saw your work included. I love your style and technique of painting. I also noticed who wrote the article about you and recognized the name. I had met Dean several years ago on the sidewalks of NYC and bought some of his work. I love his work as well and it is still hanging in my home. Please say hello to him from me.

I love your work and was thrilled to find someone else who has discovered Ernest Meissonier. I too found him at the Quai D'Orsay some years ago and do not understand why he is not more appreciated, even in France. There is not even much about on the internet. The Wallace Collection in London has two little gems by him. One of a 17th century musketeer, one of a Punchinello character. He is long overdue for a revival. Congrats on the article. Berry Fritz

Thanks to all of you that have visited the blog site. I appreciate all the feedback and if at all possible would like to be able to stay in contact with you. For the latest comment from Berry, read the book "The Judgement of Paris" it covers the years of 1850-1890's. There is a considerable amount of coverage on Meissonier and explains the power and the fall of his fame. It is an excellent read and I would like to hear your comments once you finish. ONce again cheers to you all. Michael

Mike, I'm very impressed. I'm going to go get the magazine today. You know the life of a school teacher, we have to wait to get paid sometimes to get the things we want. I loved your pictures and can't wait to see more. I love blogging, I started my own a couple of weeks ago. Love you and miss you. Susan

Mike, great job. I posted one comment but I guess it didn't go on so if there's two, it's just because I can't see. I love your pictures and can hardly wait to see more. I'm going out today to buy the magazine. You know we school teachers have to wait until pay day to get some things. I love blogging, just started one myself. So proud of you. Love you and miss you.
